We own and operate a small collection of comfortable, eclectic, and inviting cottages located at the edge of the “Downeast” coast of Maine. We absolutely love hosting and welcome visitors from near and far from May through October each year.

This was a beautiful cottage and bigger than expected. There were great amenities to make our stay enjoyable. Nicole thought of everything to make us comfortable, happy and relaxed. I would highly recommend their cottage to anyone that wants to have a relaxing, upscale stay in a cottage on the water.

East of Acadia is an amazing spot. It is a beautiful home and location on the water that is very quiet and tranquil. The home is spacious, clean and very well appointed with amenities. There are many things to do nearby and you could venture to Acadia National Park in about an hour if you choose.

Do yourself a favor and stay here! It is a slice of heaven in down east Maine. The location is quiet and idyllic. Nicole & Russ are helpful in their recommendations and everything was just as described! We would definitely stay here again.

Little Gem Cottage is a perfect spot for a quiet, low-key coastal vacation or work retreat. I had a wonderful two weeks here and can't wait to return. The cottage is adorable, comfortable, and private, with lovely views of the ocean and lots of cute decor touches -- including a blackboard with a list of suggestions for nearby hiking spots and restaurants. There is so much to do in the area -- but my favorite thing was simply relaxing on the cottage porch or in the Adirondack chairs by the water, watching the tides and the geese and seagulls

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Little Gem, which truly lives up to its name. Every detail felt intentional, from the inviting color scheme of the cottage to the thoughtful touches that made our dog feel welcome, along with items we wouldn’t have thought to bring—or had forgotten.

Best AirBnB ever! We can't say enough about East of Acadia! The hosts are fantastic, helpful, available, kind, and thoughtful. The house is stocked with everything you could need or want. It is immaculate! The VIEW is amazing.

Beautiful, tranquil location with a perfect host. The house was great — very comfortable couch and beds, well organized kitchen with everything you need, multiple lounging spots inside and outside (the screened porch was my favorite), and spectacular ocean views.
